Product description

The INLAP-ST insertion fire damper with integrated pipe connection spigot in accordance with EN 15650 is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts with or without insulation.

It consists of a white powder-coated sheet steel housing with an external intumescent layer. The multi-layered stainless steel damper blades are held in the open position by a thermal release device. The two U-lip seals ensure a secure hold in the air duct.



Functionality

In the event of a fire, the thermal release device reacts and the damper blades close by means of spring force. The intumescent material integrated in the damper blade then expands - the pipe cross-section is closed and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.


