The RORCOL V60 fire protection collar is used to seal off plastic waste water and pressurized water pipes.

It consists of a stainless steel housing with an internal intumescent layer. Due to the different serration of the stainless steel housing, the RORCOL V60 and RORCOL AV60 fire protection sleeves can be distinguished and assigned to the intended area of application. The mounting brackets are used to fasten the fire protection sleeve, which can be rotated by up to 45° if space is limited. The integrated mounting lug extension allows it to be extended by 15 mm. The RORCOL V60 fire protection collar is closed using a locking system, which is used for fastening when installed as an omega application. When using formwork in ceilings, positioning the fire protection collar is made easier by folding out the integrated positioning aids.

In the event of fire, the intumescent inside the stainless steel housing expands. At the same time, plastic pipes soften in the event of fire and melt away. The cross-section that becomes free is securely sealed by the fire protection sleeve and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.
