The PROVENT fire protection damper without a mechanical closing element is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts.

It consists of an aluminum housing with internal and external intumescent layers. The volume flow is adjusted by turning the cone.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent layer expands - the pipe cross-section is sealed and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.
