The fire protection closure with mechanical locking element PROLAP for installation on walls or ceilings is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts and POLO-KAL NG plastic pipes with or without insulation.
It consists of a white powder-coated sheet steel housing with mounting flange and pipe connection spigot for further air ducts. Inside the housing are the intumescent and the powder-coated damper blades, which are held in the open position by a thermal release device. The connection adapter on the flange side can be used to establish a connection with the air duct.
