Product description

The INLAP insertion fire damper in accordance with EN 15650 is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts with or without insulation.

It consists of a white powder-coated sheet steel housing with an external intumescent layer. The multi-layered stainless steel damper blades are held in the open position by a thermal release device. The two U-lip seals ensure a secure hold in the air duct.



Functionality

In the event of a fire, the thermal release device reacts and the damper blades close by means of spring force. The intumescent material integrated in the damper blade then expands - the pipe cross-section is closed and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.


