The FSA-ST slide-in fire protection seal with integrated pipe connection piece is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts and POLO-KAL NG plastic ducts with or without insulation.

It consists of a white powder-coated sheet steel housing with internal and external intumescent panels. The stainless steel damper blades are held in the open position by a thermal release device. The U-lip seal ensures a secure hold in the air duct.

In the event of a fire, the thermal release device reacts between 70°C and 75°C and the damper blades close by means of spring force. The intumescent layer then expands - the pipe cross-section is closed and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.
