The BST-E slide-in fire damper without a mechanical locking element is used to seal off air ducts made of spiral ducts that are used to ventilate living spaces, rooms used for similar purposes, and wet rooms.

It consists of an aluminum housing with internal and external insulation layer formers.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent layer expands - the pipe cross-section is sealed and heat transfer to the side facing away from the fire is restricted.
